Dear Friends,
As the psalmist teaches us, God’s word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). In other words, the scriptures provide us with guidance as we strive to live as faithful followers of Jesus. Thus, as we enter a new program year at First Pres, I invite adult members and friends to take advantage of this resource for faithful living and join me for a Bible study, with a focus on the Letter of James.
With the help of James: N.T. Wright for Everyone, we will meet at noon on Wednesdays in the Minnema Room to examine what this short New Testament letter can teach us about the relationship between our faith and our actions.
